from our Longwood ranch, located a stone’s throw east of the famous Oak Knoll AVA in Napa, is a fine example of New World fruit coupled with Old World Wine making techniques. Crafted in Bordeaux style, intense notes of blackberry, cassis and bing cherries dominate the bouquet followed by layers of tobacco and toasted New French Oak.

Located at the corner of Atlas Peak and Oak Knoll on a soil type of alluvium fan which exhibits gravely deposits with low content of coarse fragment. Our Cabernet Sauvignon is planting with a vine density of 2074 per acre which is reflected by low yield of nearly three tons per acre or 40 hl per hectare and a higher concentration of flavor.
